Dance Classes
The Westchester Lariats offers dance classes for children in grades
K-8, Monday afternoons during the school year. In the early grades,
children are taught stretching exercises, rhythm, basic dance steps,
and a variety of dance types from many cultures. The class for
grades 4-8 increases in complexity of dance steps and continues
introducing dances from around the world: European folk, Polynesian,
Mexican, American traditional, vintage, social and many more! At the
end of the spring session, children in the classes will be invited
to perform in the Westchester Lariats annual Spring Show. Children
who take these classes are eligible to join the performing
Westchester Lariats when they are at least 10 years of age, or are
in the 5th grade.

June and are pro-rated. Your first class is
complimentary.
Fall classes start September. No pre-registration is necessary Grades K-3 3:30 – 4:20 pm
